What do you get when you combine good milk, love, and experience? One of the best fresh cheeses available in the country! This heavenly cheese is like a rich, fluffy cloud with a refreshing touch of acidity. Spread on your toast with raspberry jelly for breakfast, sprinkle on your salad for lunch, or enjoy spoonfuls with a light wine as an evening snack.
Only 45 minutes from our door to theirs, Ben and Amelia have been making decadent goat cheeses for about 15 years. Pure Luck Farm was started by Sarah Sweetser in 1979 and was the first certified organic farm in Texas. The Dairy was the first Grade-A goat dairy in Texas, too! Sarah's daughter Amelia and her husband Ben now run the farm, take care of the 100 Alpine and Nubian goats, make the cheese, and sell and deliver the cheeses around town. This heavenly fresh cheese is like a rich, fluffy cloud with a refreshing touch of acidity. An anytime cheese, spread Chevre on your toast with raspberry jelly for breakfast, sprinkle on your salad for lunch, or enjoy spoonfuls with a light and earthy wine as an evening snack.
